Weddington Homes for Sale
Weddington NC Real Estate continues to grow in popularity based on location, schools and taxes. Weddington was a very rural suburb just south of the prestigious South Charlotte Real Estate market. many of the homes in Weddington rest on 1 acre lots embraced by trees and nature.
How do I find Weddington Homes for Sale? Weddington NC is a bit confusing since Weddington North Carolina does not actually have a post office so the mailing addresses are based on which post office services the area. Many Weddington Homes are serviced by the Matthews NC post office. Matthews is technically in the neighboring county (Charlotte/Mecklenburg County). Matthews borders much of Weddington and thus services the area. You will notice that these Weddington Homes have Union County taxes and belong to Union County Schools.
One example is the Greystone subdivision. This is a subdivision with plenty of space and a variety of homes; this is not your "cookie cutter" neighborhood! Greystone offers the cul-de-sac neighborhood with privacy for you and your family!

Homes in Charlotte Suburbs
What are Charlotte suburbs and how do they compare. There is a lot of misinformation about Charlotte Real Estate and the true Charlotte suburbs. First you must realize that all of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County attends the same schools. There are no suburb schools in Mecklenburg County. This includes Cornelius, Davidson, Huntersville, Matthews, Pineville and Mint Hill; they all attend the CMS (Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools). The schools system does vary around the city but CMS has done a good job at balancing/districting the schools to add balance.
Many consider suburbs to be the schools outside of CMS control. There are many surrounding counties that provide a wide array of options. Union County is to the South and Southeast of Charlotte and Union County Schools have a very good academic record. Visit Weddington Real Estate, Marvin Real Estate, Wesley Chapel Real Estate and Waxhaw Real Estate to gain a better understanding of Union County Homes.
Cabarrus County is to the North/Northeast of Charlotte Real Estate and some of the homes are in Concord Real Estate, Harrisburg Real Estate and Kannapolis Real Estate.

Union County NC Real Estate Update
Today I will spotlight a portion of Union County NC Real Estate growth. Cuthbertson Rd is located east off of Providence Rd (across from Cureton) and south of Newtown Rd.
There are currently 2 new schools built; a middle school and a high school. The most incredible thing about these schools are that Marvin Ridge just opened last year and now a 3rd school will soon be open. Marvin Real Estate residents will have their own schools! Marvin Ridge helped relieve the congestion at Weddington High School and now the 3rd high school is needed! Weddington Real Estate will lose some of its great student population to Marvin and remains one of the top schools in NC! You can tell the popularity of an area based on the number of parents relocating to the area.
The new Cuthbertson Middle and High Schools help further relieve the overflow from Weddington, Marvin and Parkwood Schools. Cuthbertson is rapidly transforming with subdivisions like Champion Forest and Lawson. Champion Forest is a four side brick neoghborhood with an ideal community pool. The streets are wide and there are many trees throughout the neighborhood.
The Lawson community has seven different builders each with its own neighborhood. Lawson is built as a wooded retreat with walking trails, quaint walking bridges and water features. Their amenity center just opened with an elaborate clubhouse, a lap pool, another large pool with a large winding slide, a playground and tennis courts. There will also be custom homes added to this neighborhood in the near future.
How about retail? There is a new Lowes Home Improvement store built at the intersection of Providence and Cuthbertson. There are many great things occuring throughout the greater Waxhaw Real Estate region!
